This is really community dependent, and technically it’s whatever you want (or can afford)
We give 3-4x the “typical” amount, because we feel it’s the most important thing there is to pay for. I would feel weird spending more on a hall or caterer than on the person actually doing the bris

Paid 800 3 years ago and 7 years ago and mohel was very appreciative. Got the idea it was a little on the more generous side.
