I have a small-ish emerald cut stone with a halo around it. I've really never loved the ring because the center stone is not fully flush with the halo, so there are gaps. I also dont like how the circular halo stones look with the linear nature of an emerald cut diamond. But if I lose the halo, the ring will look much, much smaller. I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations for a good jeweler in NY or a ring design that would maximize the look of a smaller emerald without a halo. Thanks!
