I can’t deprive my kids and husband of chocolate just because I can’t control myself!! But BH this evening I just had a little treat and benched from dinner and not eating more tonight.

Try keeping your stuff in a separate cabinet from the rest of the families stuff. If you need a 'treat' you go to your acceptable trea cabinet (nuts, seeds...) and stay out of theirs. Not looking at it can help keep temptation away.

I can relate. I too have put on 6 pounds in last two weeks. Thanksgiving was insane. I can't be around food and control myself. Had 3 plates of mashed potatoes plus the other stuff. I eat til my stomach hurts. I love food.

I fell off the wagon.

I haven’t been preparing good meals for myself.

I binged again tonight. I feel so sick.

Going to try again this week.

Probably worthwhile to go back to the suggestion others made about understanding why you're binging.

If you can understand it, you can work with yourself instead of trying to force a solution on something that isn't quite "fitting". The binging is serving a purpose, you have to figure out the purpose and find a new way to get that need met.

You can address the food as well but it needs to be in conjunction with the why. So....why do you feel the need to binge? What triggers it? There seems to be a pattern...

Op, the concept of accountability really works. If someone goes to a nutritionist. Goes on the scale and has their weight written down. Goes over a food plan for the week with a professional. Makes an appointment for the following week. Pays for the meeting with hard earned money. Knows there will be a meeting the following week where weight will be taken as well as a conversation about how the week went.

That's accountability.

Over here you will get zero accountability. Wadr, nobody really cares or feels the slightest bit responsible if you decide to cheat or entirely fall off.

That's why there are dozens of weight loss threads with lots of people joining that all fizzle out. My only point is that if you want real accountability, this isn't the place.
