Rude or not?
Rude if they don't agree?
I feel like with the price of uber, I'm also playing for a pleasant ride. Am I wrong?
Also I can't figure out how to edit the poll and make the title an option.

Not rude to ask at all, but I'd only ask if the kids are in the car or I need to concentrate on something. Sometimes I prefer though, because it means that they're not going to be asking me a million questions.

If it’s blasting I would ask. If it’s quiet I wouldn’t. They are driving a long time and it can be really boring without music.

When uber first started the drivers were so considerate because they wanted good ratings so they wouldn’t even have had their own music on in the first place. Maybe they would ask to if you wanted music and then put it on according to your taste. Now they couldn’t care less. I recently had a driver with loud rap music and the car stunk like cigarettes. It was so much nicer before.

I voted that I think it's rude and would never ask. But there was one time I did ask. The driver had some sort of song about having sx with a bunch of pretty girls or whatever. I had kids in the car so I asked him to turn it off. The guy was so annoyed with me and I was like well I don't want to hear some guy singing how he likes to play with boobs or whatever.

It’s rude for him to have it on to begin with . Basic etiquette for a cab driver is to have the radio off .
