Want to use the name but it feels so grown up. And hard to build into a sentence quickly…
If you have one, what do you call her?

Honestly I wouldn’t use the name if you don’t like the way it sounds as is. It’s a pretty name on its own

Here are some nickname ideas either way:

Rory
Mimi
Ria? Mori?

I like the name I just feel like I won’t be able to integrate it into the flow of my speech… maybe I am overthinking it.

If you’re American, it’s a bit of a stress to say

Mori AH

It will be more natural the more you say it..

Mia is another nickname idea

Thank you! Not American but yes it’s a stress to say in other languages especially since the emphasis is on the last syllable

Beautiful name.
When my DD was little (moved) she had a friend Moriah, who went by Moriah. She was an adorable kid. Name was absolutely fine

I would do Morry (rhymes with Laurie) or Rory (which sounds really cute but is a bit further away from the name).

I strongly considered it for my daughter but didn't use it in the end because I live in the states and I was worried about people calling her Maria.
