Trying to help someone with a small business. She generally has advertised with flyers around the neighborhood or in local newspapers, but she is open to considering something more modern to help generate new business.
Can anyone tell me what's an option out there, or where to start looking into this?
I am vaguely aware that there is email advertising, whatsapp messages, ads on other websites (banners?), but I have no idea how to find out about these or what their pricing looks like.
If it affects your answer, she deals with educational materials in NY.

Definitely WhatsApp groups for your area, there’s tons of them you just need to ask around.
