Gonna echo the other posters- he needs a few happy clients to spread the word.
I did two custom closets. The guy was impossible to reach and the process was not enjoyable. We pursued this option because the contractor recommended him and it made sense financially.
The closets are fine (basic-ish) and held up well so far, 4+ years later, but I don’t think I would hire this guy again and I don’t recommend him to anyone.

I think its a waste of time
I would reach out to the interior designers and custom builders, and offer a nice kick back. Be persistent, keep following up.
Also, on your adds offer a referal fee for anyone who refers someone who closes on a package. This is THE best advertising, people remember things like that.
