The most important is having a urine culture done. The most likely case is that she is having the wrong antibiotics and of course it isn't going to help. ER will do a catheter if she isn't willing to make in a container but it's more likely to traumatise her more. (It could be for the culture they will anyways want to do it)

Do I know if it's kidney reflux? I don't. All I know is that she has fever for a week or over (she had fever last week monday tuesday went away came back thursday). This is all I know. Fever, not eating.

This has been going on for a week, it’s not an emergency to the degree of running to an ER in the middle of the night. Your best bet is contacting a referral service for help with getting in to a specialist ASAP meaning today or tomorrow

I really did not find that. I've called him late at night and early morning too. I've texted him with questions. He's been wonderful. My child had 2 surgeries with him.

Patients who walk into the er on their own for something not life threatening will usually have to wait the longest.
It’s very helpful to go to the er if your doctor is sending you. Otherwise you have to use a hospital Dr (often a resident). Patients brought in via ambulance usually don’t have much of a wait time.

Over the past 3 weeks did the fever break for more than 24 hours?
She has a virus now which will have to run its course. There is usually no medication for the virus.
Are you saying that she had the uti for 3 weeks?
I once had something similar with a child. The dr finally suggested that we go for a chest X-ray the next morning. That morning my child woke up for the first time fever free in a few weeks.

You should probably call your doctors office and tell them that your child is really not doing well and you want to take her to the hospital to get checked out. Ask them which hospital they recommend.
If you go to a hospital where your doctor doesn’t have “rights” she won’t be able to have any say in c hospitalization.

If you've been happy with your pediatrician in the past, my first step would be to go back to the pediatrician first thing this morning and make sure you are heard and ask the doctor to do more tests or does he think you should go to the ER. Some of the basics may include more bloodwork, chest xray, referral to urologist, urine culture, etc. If you don't get anywhere, you can still call the referral agency at 11 or 12 today.

Listen to your intuition- B’H I did and it saved my daughter’s life. My doctor kept dismissing my daughter’s symptoms and then finally I made an appointment and refused to leave until they figured out what was wrong with my daughter. They said there was only 1 more test they can run but they doubt that is the problem. After running the test, the Pediatrician came back to me shocked and told me to go to the ER right away- he can call an ambulance if I needed- because my daughter was really sick.
After being turned away 3 times!
Listen to your gut- what do you have to lose?
So someone thinks you’re anxious? There is a chance you can really save your child from something bad.
If it was me I would go to the er( and bring a phone,charger and headphones because it will be a long day but im’H a productive one)
