Or up and about?

With fever yes. No appetite. Lost 1 lb this week. Tylenol doesn't do much. Motrin works great. Child feels totally OK on motrin.

I was thinking about that. Can I just walk in? How? To radiology? Or to to the er?
Just spoke to chaim medical. I dialed the emergency number. I didn't eat all week already. I have to call back tomorrow.
103 fever for close to a week is not. My brain is going to bladder or kidney c---

Columbia's children's hospital is among the top in the nation. Just walk into their pediatric ER (Morgan Stanley).

It's called NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital Emergency Department

I did it for a cast on a toddler. It took all day. Bring toys.

I would consider going now, at night. Might be less busy and the kid would rather sleep through most of it.

This. I had a relative who rl had a tragedy with a child after giving birth in a different hospital. Afterward she only gave birth in columbia with scheduled inductions. They've always been incredible with her, and one of her babies needed extra monitoring for a few weeks.

OP, bh for you and listening to your gut. Please go with your baby the first instance you can. Don't take a shrug for an answer, and don't leave if you still have questions.

Someone mentioned kidney reflux, does that come with fever of 103 for a week? She's on meds for the uti; so the meds isn't helping because there's kidney reflux?

Because something about the situation is telling you you should not relax. OP, you're not sleeping anyway. Take your baby to Columbia pediatric. It won't hurt your baby to be seen sooner. You'll probably sleep better in a waiting room chair knowing you're on the way to a solution.

You have the power to take control. Tell DH if he doesn't take you, you're calling a cab. And do so.

Maybe it's my anxiety talking? That's what I keep on telling myself. Just spoke my sister. She claims it's my anxiety. Who knows??
Just as a btw, dr took a cbc. Numbers were perfect. Hemoglobin, white count, platelets and all the rest.

Let me know how soon you get places with Chaim Medical tomorrow morning. Takes time -maybe even days - to get a return call from the appropriate department.

One of my kids was severely allergic to bactrim which caused fever and symptoms. But it comes out slowly over time. (CBC and white count would be crazy if that was the case)

If you need a urologist, Dr stock in mt Sinai is excellent. I've had multiple ultrasounds and tests done in mt Sinai for my child.

His bedside manners are non existent. I'm scared of him. You can't ask any questions. He comes in announces what he has to say and runs away.
