What OP is talking about IS the cause of the problem you are talking about! Large families will scant income can't support high teacher salaries.
Communities with more well-to-do professionals / more modern schools, are able to charge more tuition and pay teachers more.
Im not saying this to bash the kollel way of life. Just saying, how do you suggest getting money to pay teachers more?

Hashem put the kollel life in the world and it’s a deep meaningful lifestyle if you don’t get it …. |
Traditionally in the olden days men who had a good kop for learning would marry girls from wealthy homes and their fathers agreed to support them. Those that couldn't learn as well went out to work to earn a living.
The kolel life today is a more modern thing. I mean it's been going on for a while but it's relatively modern compared to how things used to be.
I don't mean to criticize another lifestyle but using the line "Hashem put the kolel lifestyle in this world" is ridiculous
Hashem put business lifestyles, working lifestyles, evil murderous lifestyles and beautiful lifestyles in this world, what's your point?

Why are principals making huge amounts (not that they shouldn’t) when teachers are making maybe a fifth of that

Okay let me clarify…family already started reaching out to collect money for them for the simcha. They collect money for them every pesach and Sukkos too. I 100% respect rebbeim and I agree that many put their heart and soul into class and I wish rebbeim were paid more. What bothers me more is the way they are setting up the next generation. The girl doesn’t have a job, marrying a boy who wants to learn forever and both from families with no money. It doesn’t feel like a responsible thing to do. Find a well paying job if you want to be a kollel wife unless you have money elsewhere to support that lifestyle…

And those from such MO communities are also complaining about high tuition

Many families are forced to collect, even with both parents working or one parent being out of job.
What does it mean, the kallah doesn't have a job? Is she in college? What does she do the whole day??
Normally, long term learners marry girls who can support the family, at least in the first X years.

What is YOUR long term plan for the people who teach your children? |
My husband is not in kollel or chinuch . He works his butt off from morning to evening.. and we still can't afford the frum lifestyle.
Should we petition to have kallas tubes tide?

The dollar is almost worthless. Our taxes go to endless wars, illegals, money laundering schemes for corporations and politicians. Honest, hardworking people like teachers should not have to be on our scant government programs. It wasn't so long ago that an American family lived well off one salary. You need to inform yourself about our reality, then vote as an educated citizen.
