We like to take our elderly mother who can really benefit (healthwise) from a winter trip to Florida
Happy to stay in a cheaper area that has access to kosher food like Boca or Orlando does not have to be on the beach

A nice Villa, that is well taken care of as she is particular , with a decent sized pool, so she can swim for her health and some attractions to go to during a two week stay

Any leads, tips, ideas, etc?
If you've been to something that fits the bill, would you please share a link? Needs to be able to sleep at least 4-5 ppl

Trip ideas welcome too
Remember shes mid 70s and has a hard time walking

You’ll save a ton of money if you either bring cooked food with you, or if you cook yourself there rather than buy takeout or go to restaurants. That’s my best money saved tip

There are a bunch of resorts in Orlando that are having minyan etc. during midwinter. I’d suggest reaching out to Orlando Torah Academy and getting onto some WhatsApp groups so you can see what would work for you. (Eden Gardens is an all around resort that has many Jewish owners and a full time Shabbos minyan all year round)

We have a house in Orlando- Eden gardens that has a pool and hot tub fully private. It has 9 bedrooms so can hold an extended family

An airbnb that is not right off the beach & is not super fancy or large should be most affordable. Boca or Hollywood are good choices with kosher supermarkets.
