I think for Shabbat it's a great idea. During the week there are much nicer hotels and with food all around u, what's the need?

We liked the frum environment. There are minyanim in the Shul by the hotel, Kosher breakfast, and during the non mixed hours at the pool it is often empty and people there are dressed in tznius bathing suits. It is also near the bay which is nice for dh that wouldn't want a beach view. Hotel itself was very pleasant. They also have free electric scooters, kayaks, shuttle to the beach etc.

You said that you weren't impressed with Altair & that you'd rather stay at the Ritz for that money.
So I'm replying that the Ritz or any other fancy hotel, is not the same money as the Altair...

I was there in June of 23 for a shabbos and had a grand time!
I loved the hotel and the amenities. We enjoyed scootering around on Friday (We didnt get to use the bikes or kayaks.) I was obsessed with the rooftop and was there all of Friday, Shabbos afternoon (sitting around) and Sunday. There is a hot tub, pool, cabanas and a rooftop bar. There is also a full on shower room with products. So after we went jet skiing or came back from the beach we went straight to the roof back into the pool and then showered when we were done, (We already checked out of our room)
Shabbos we ate at the restaurant in the hotel (bit pricy) and was really nice. I would def recommend and I cant wait to be back

Might have been emptier when I was there as it was not the season. although, there were still plenty frum ppl.
We didnt try the breakfast there although I heard its really good
