I thought it was just me until I was by my sheitel lady and someone else was asking why it was suddenly always getting knotty. She straight away said if you started wearing a coat already than that would be the answer.
(It was a shoulder length wig for the person up thread that say it doesn't happen to their short wig)
I have the same issue, I often carry a scrunchie in my pocket and make a pony whilst I'm wearing a coat and when I get to work etc take out the scrunchie and wig looks perfect!
Are you sure they're not the best of friends, to the point where the sheitel is so heartbroken to be separated from the coat that it can't keep itself together?
Mine were in a constant state of acrimony until I gave in and bought a collar less coat. Game changer! Now my sheital caresses the coat and I can wear a scarf to cover my neck. Coat and sheital harmony ❤️
