We're trying really hard to buy a home and all we can afford are little hovels.

A (wealthy) friend tells me "But they're so small! You really need to buy a 'forever home'.."

No kidding, hun.

I also need to afford my "forever mortgage".

This thread went elsewhere but this is what I thought It was meant for.

I buy fake but real looking jewlery. I have always been very different in my opinion but real jewlery, especially bigger peices always felt tacky to me. Maybe cause my mom overdid it, but idk just in general flash isn't for me. I like very very delicate. Nothing that sparkles to much. And when my husband tried to buy me real jewlery on occasion I actually have returned it and instead bought something fake but in my opinion far more beautiful. I believe it's nice, and I don't have to worry about it getting lost, etc and to me that's just the right price point. I don't see the value in spending on jewlery to be honest. I'd rather put that money to way better use.
