So then if you are in israel please understand that the pom pom thing never left. Ive seen it in both the charedi and dati leumi world and its been in style for many years now.
But also, if you are in israel, why does whats in fqshion out of israel really matter?

I understand you OP. A few years ago I went to my son's PTA event in Jerusalem in an American charedi area and I was the only one wearing a pom pom hat. So it did go out and has been out for a few years. Idk if it came back or not because as evidenced here I am not exactly fashionable...
