I do customer service and billing part time, like 20 hours of my own choosing and I sell some goods on the side and I make about 55k.

used to be in middle management and made 140k but I was a slave to the company. Now I can nap when I want, travel when I want. Of course less money but hey I qualify for Medicaid now.

I didn't mean 16 babies. 16 3 year olds is not a factory. But whatever enjoy hating Lakewood.

Exactly, plus she said she has an assistant. 2 morahs for 16 3 or 4 year olds is more than enough.

When I was in kindergarten (in a school) we had 2 morahs for close to 30 kids and no one called it a factory. Y'all can relax.

Does it need a specific background/experience or expertise?

What would you advise someone who would want to get to that type of place, where they can get hired PT for such good pay?

The offer came to me through a friend.... I have experience being in a very intense office and dealing a lot with the city programs. I was a good candidate for them because of the above...

I'm not her, but I'm also familiar with the field. Senior software engineers can make 300k+ in NYC if you work for the right company. See https://www.levels.fyi/t/softw.....-area to see which companies

Do you have to work in office? We live in the tri state area but remote. 300k plus would be amazing. A dream.

University professor and program director at a small private university in an underpopulated state. I have been in my position for a little over two years (this is my third academic year). I make 65K annually plus almost free health insurance. We get small raises every year and they pay into our retirement. I can make extra through additional teaching. Almost totally flexible time and I set my own schedule.

May I ask, how many hours per week do you teach, and how many months per year?

Sure! All in I work about 15-20 hours a week. About 3-5 is teaching, the rest is either administrative tasks for my program or my own research projects. I only teach for the 9-mo academic year but I do work on planning and my own writing during summers. I don't make a ton of money, but I love what I do and it's very flexible for Shabbos, yontif, school breaks, etc.

In private practice? Asking because I’m hesitant to go in that direction but need something that brings in more than agency work I’m doing now.
