My 18 month old is obsessed with climbing. Like literally climbing the walls. Would love to buy some sort of climbing toy, was looking at the pikler triangle but they’re all so expensive! Not looking to spend more than 50$ any recommendations?

For that budget look secondhand because you won't find anything quality or safe at retail price.
Search for pikler, swedish climbing ladder or stepping stones or balance beam

I got something similar to this at a secondhand store, I think I paid about $10. He’s actually done with it, so if you want it I would gladly give it to you.

The one I have looks like a ship and has a steering wheel in the middle.

These rungs look like they're more than 4 inches apart. That's a strangulation hazard chv for a baby or toddler with small head who isn't stable.
Distance between rungs should correspond to child's abilities. All the quality ones have smaller distances.
