I send to ashreinu.
I love it. Its one class per grade, usually around 20 in the class.
If its an emotional thing rather than an academic thing, I would absolutely check it out. Whilst they do offer extra help academically, u pay for it.
The place is so warm. The menahelet is amazing, and so open and caring to the girls.
The teachers really see the pupils. Kita alef has a sayaat as well, so thats 2 teachers on 20 girls. Its difficult to get lost in that!
Any questions, please ask

Can you tell me about the parent body? I've heard great things about the school! Are the families mostly like just plain frum US type? Or do they lean more yeshvish? Would a mom who doesn't generally wear stockings or tights feel comfortable there? Are most of the fathers working?

We also send to Ashreinu and love it! It's small and warm and a mixture of BY, lots of Anglo from shaarei chessed/rechavia. Lots of kollel or ex-kollel families, but not all - and many of them from interesting backgrounds. I do think most/all mothers would wear stockings/tights though.

Not sure they have always have space for non-siblings - worth checking before doing too much research...

Id say its about 70/30 learning/working fathers.
Probably 95%of the motherrs wear tights.
It is a bit more open because its very chutznik, so the school are aware the families often use whatsapp to speak to family or whatever. Its definately not encouraged, but its an open secret no one discusses!

I was in the second graduating class of shiras Dev. And seeing this brought up memories of my elementry school days...
We had fabulous teachers, and a great time in school. We had a very interesting mix of class, ranging from super duper yeshivish briskish to chassidish! And everything in between
Mostly chutznik or 2nd gen chutznik
Mrs yudelewitz and Mrs Podrobinik were the menahelet and mefakachat
It was then a sister school to chochmas shloime and rav pinzel (or pindrus) was invovledinvovled

Thanks for answering. It's probably too far for us unless they have hassaot, but when it gets relevant I'll ask around my neighborhood if anyone sends there. Although I wonder if they take people from out of the neighborhood anyway

I may be wrong, but the impression I always got while living in Sanhedria was that there's actually much more peer pressure in the private schools than in the bais yaakov. (I sent to tzafon for a few years and my daughter did really well there, even though she is probably under average academically. For chumash, she was taken out in a smaller group for example, I didn't even know about it until months later.)
