That's why simis parents are so involved. |
It almost seems like it but it wasn't mentioned.

Cause she mentions real names.

Dark khaki, if you know her personally, would you dare to ask her if she doesn't mind that people are dissecting her story? Or what her point was in publicizing it?
I'm so tempted to ask her.
Because I feel so bad that this is whats going on.
Such a painful life.. it's almost unbearable!
I'm picturing her and her eidel daughter..

I think it is extremely odd, even if its told from the mothers point of view, that the husband is not mentioned. This is a story of a major life crisis, you would think he would be at her side.

I would assume that he asked not to be mentioned.

Not for the "machatinste" she goes to Israel with. It doesn't mention a name and I think the implication for anyone reading it is that it's the son in law's mother.

You have no idea what else was going on behind the scenes? How can you be judgemental?
And for that matter, Chanie, her children, her mechitunim might all be reading this thread. Can we be more careful? Does she have to have more hurt inflicted on her? Hasn't she had enough??

If mentions which cousins stayed with her when the mother went to EY, and how she missed her son so much when she was in the hospital.. I keep wondering if she’s married or not. It’s ok yo mention the husband without a name but to not mention him seems odd, especially bec every other family member is mentioned

I didn't read that installment yet.
Are you referring to her own husband? Simis father?
If you are... he was niftar 2 summers ago.. let let neshumes have peace.
He was a tzaddik!

It's normal to question why he's not in it now. It's just confusing.

Simi never divorced. Stop the gossip. I remember in her final days when Simi lost the ability to talk they would nebach communicate by text.
My assumption is he gave approval to this serial by omitting his part of the saga.
It seems to me this serial is therapeutic healing for Chany. So please let's be nice.

I got to vaguely know the family while they were spending her final days in Freidwald hospice. Simis husband was definitely there all along spending the final days with her. I'm assuming as others speculate that he doesn't want to be written about.

But she mentioned that at the pesach hamareh in meron she was crying and davening hysterically, so her mechitenesta was explaining to other mispallelim that Chany's daughter is very sick. She didn't say "my dil is sick", implying it was a different mechitenesta.

And she does say a name. I reread it now.
