anyone know what happens if there’s a failing grade on a kodesh subject in high school? I’m assuming they’ll still graduate. Will it ruin their seminary chances?
What about if it’s not failing for a couple of grades in the high 60s/low 70s which is JUST passing.
Can the subject be retaken and passed?
Lower grades can affect seminary acceptance, but wouldn't you want to look for an appropriate place for her, with less intense academics, anyway?
Some seminaries (I know even the local seminaries my daughters went to) ask for a copy of your daughter's diploma before school starts. A failing grade means no diploma.
In dd’s school a failing grade has to be made up with summer assignments. I don’t know how it affects seminary nowadays. In my days there were seminaries that were happy to take a good girl with weaker grades.
