Would you be OK with that? From what age? Bus stops at our bus stop onto our street, so no cars are able to drive past in front of it. The bus driver waits while the kids cross in front of the bus.

That always made me nervous . Bh it always worked out that my kids didn’t have to cross

Its actually the safest way for kids to cross. Not sure if it's a law, but the driver must have his stop signs open and he has to wait until the kids are safely on the other side before he closes them and moves on.

I live in a place where people ignore the stop signs on buses. So I go to get my son every day even though the driver waits for the kids to cross. The cars don't always wait.

So what's the issue? Teach them to cross at least 3-4 feet away from the bus & not directly in front of the bus, so the driver can see them.
My kids need to cross a 2 way street, it makes me nervous but that's how it is.
