Me too tbh. And even then when I was hardly buying fresh mushrooms I only used it for 1 or 2 specific recipes.
Some years later when money was tight I started using it more and learnt how to use them, now I will even make a delicious mushroom sauce (to the shock of my mother that it had never seen a fresh mushroom) something I would never have thought was possible if I hadn't tried it.

Funnily I'm just realising that it's because of tinned mushrooms that I found Imamother!!!
I really do have alot to thank them for (not sure DH agrees) 
The first time I wanted to make mushroom sauce and couldn't afford fresh mushrooms so I googled making mushroom sauce from tinned mushroom and a recipe on Imamother came up, I then signed up....

He doesn't like how much time I spend on imamother, I think he would have preferred I didn't find out about it. He does like what I make with tinned mushrooms.
