I am sitting here in Eretz Yisroel with a War going on. We had close to 300 real rockets shot into Our beautiful country today from Lebanon. They reached the Center of our country. Bnei Brak. Petach Tikva, Pardes Chana, Rosh Ha'ayin Train station which is a nice size. I know what you are going through is also very important to you but please, Hold your little boy. Let him run around and play. Those shoes were adorable for a 4 year old. (If he was 7 I could hear you ask. If you live in a place like Belz or Visznitz also). I know you will all say this has nothing to do with that but to me it does. Let your little one be dressed like a 4 year old. He is gonna get dirty. let him be little and be happy.

I personally would not put it on for my 3 yr old son.
If you specifically don't wanna do loafers or slip ons I would go with a nice lace up. Gives more of a elegant look.

These all look more like shoes for a first walker. Not so much for a four year old

My 3.5 year old wore them last year for weekday and shabbos. More for shabbos when he wore Sneakers for weekday. They lasted. They were comfortable. Hello! 4 is still little. I don't see a problem. Now my son is almost 5 and he's in a 29 so into expensive shabbos shoes.

These responses are insane to me

OP these shoes are beautiful. All of them. They’d all be beautiful for Shabbos

My 4 year old wears similar Naturinos 7 days a week. A 4 year old boy who needs a new size every 3-4 months does NOT need shabbos shoes AND every day shoes. 2 pairs of shoes, 3-4 times a year (plus boots, plus watee shoes, plus crocs) is insane for a preschooler. We need to stop pretending that our preschooers are walking down fashion runways when in actuality they’re playing in playgrounds.

I definitely don't mean this to come across as rude, at all, I'm just expressing shock. People really have the money to spend $70 on a single pair of shoes for a child under 7? I can't imagine how I would manage having three small boys. I just buy from Target.

I only buy leather shoes for kids, otherwise their feet sweat & they're uncomfortable.

None of my kids went up a size 3-4 times a year at age 4, I don't think it's common at all.
They go up a size a year on average.

My kids must be atypical then. They always grow 3 sizes a year My just turned 4 year old wears a size 31 (for shoes we bought before RH) His last pair of shoes before that was in May and he was 29 then. My 9 year old is still growing 2 sizes a year

Ok and when did your older kids (who didn’t have older sibling simchas) get their first shabbos shoes?

Amen and stay safe.

OP, your son is 4, if those shoes work for him then they are perfect.
