Patience. There is no way to rush a fever. I would alternate Tylenol and Motrin, keep him hydrated, give vitamin c or other vitamins if he will take but basically you just need to let it pass its course.

All of this, but dose his Tylenol and Motrin by weight, not age.

You can give him a bath if it will make him feel better and he has the energy but it won’t make the fever go away.

Refuah Shelaima! Hope he feels better fast!

Vinegar socks or potato socks. Aconitum homeopathic.

But honestly fever is an important process in illness and I would just try to keep the child comfortable until it passes.

Is your question to make him feel good while sick, to help him heal quickly, or to bring down his temperature? There's no reason to try to lower his temperature.

Fever is the sign that his body is fighting germs, but it can make him feel so weak and yucky. If he's too weak for a lukewarm bath, you can gently sponge his with lukewarm papertowels wherever it's comfortable for him.

I always alternate tylonal and motrin and give a bath. If the kid is agreeable enough, I'll use a cold compress too.
