I know that the flight time is basically a day, 8 hours.
Would 3 nights be enough, say Sunday to Wednesday altogether?

Also would you go to an Arab country now, or in about a year? (Not planning to go for another year)

I wouldn’t go support Arab countries until they play nicer with Israel.

I would go. You have British passports, right?
I haven't been yet but I've heard the duty free shopping is absolutely five star Smile

That won't happen even when hell freezes.

I would definitely go of all Arab countries Dubai is pretty supportive of Israel.
But I don’t think 3 days is nearly enough.

How long would we need? If we have to leave the kids for longer then we'll need to wait a lot longer than year to go. I really can't leave them for longer. Is it not doable?

Sure you can go but is it worth it to spend that money for just one full day?

So why should we give them our money?

If you can make it a four night stay it's even better from what I saw but if you have an early arrival and a late return flight three nights could be fine.

Nobody has to. Whatever you decide is fine.
That said you should know that plenty of Israelis travel to Dubai as of the Abraham accords Israel signed with the UAE.
