5.5k for dh. He made it when he was 22. It's a 10 year pay whole life policy. The death benefit is 250k.
I have a 20 year term policy for 1 million. It costs around 500 a year.

We pay 126.20 per month for life insurance for me and dh. I don't know the split since we purchased about 13 years ago when we were in our mid 20s. DH is 750k and mine is 500k (definitely not enough) both 30 year term with return on premium. We really need to buy another 30 year term but dh needs to lose some weight so we are pushing it off.

I pay $276 a year for 20 year 1 million dollar coverage. Signed up at age 22. It’s non convertible which made it cheaper.
I don’t remember how much my husband’s plan is.

$165 per month for dh and $80 per month for me. We both have policies for $750, got them in our 20's about 20 years ago. Now it doesn't seem like enough but at the time it seemed like a vast amount of money.
We also added some supplemental life insurance through dh's work, 2x his annual salary with payments deducted from each paycheck. But that's on an annual basis.
