My kids are almost exactly the same ages.
On long Friday nights, we have a very elaborate dessert, and we play board games.
We bench and clear the table and put out: pumpkin and sunflower seeds, tortilla chips and salsa, candy, dried fruit (lately obsessed with mango), and whatever cakes/cookies we made for Shabbos. About a year ago I bought a set of beautiful glass apothecary jars to hold all the goodies, specifically for this 'meal'. It makes the table took beautiful.
We play all sorts of games- quelf, apples to apples, monopoly , chess. Last week I actually won Risk, which I don't think has ever happened to me before.
Not everyone participates. My kids are big readers, and can get lost in a book. But the food keeps everyone coming in and out, and our dining room has a couch area, which is nice for those that want to be there but not be at the table.
It's one of my absolute favorite times of the week.

My husband learns with my son and daughter separately. We all go to bed by 9. It's awesome. Especially since motzei shabbos we don't get to bed until late with father son learning and other activities.

I just want to note - we would LOVE to just go to sleep but we feel it’s a good opportunity to spend non distracted time with the kids

After seuda I put the baby and toddler to bed while my husband learns with the boys. When the younger kids are asleep my husband and I go to our room to talk. During this time, the older kids read or play board games. At 9:30, my husband goes to a shiur and my older kids go to bed.

Can you please post a direct link or describe how to get to it? I went to the website but I couldn’t find the Parsha quiz. Thanks!

Best times to share. Reading books together, Start a big book, read a couple pages each week, and continue each week reading to your children. Everyone reads their own books. Board games. Nosh. invite a couple kids friends over from 7.30pm till 9.30pm. Take a family walk around the block. When it gets really cold and snowy, make sure you have tea and cake. get some throw blankets and cuddle together on the couches.

What's the game apples to apples? Can I get it on Amazon? We have twisted kichels, it's great. Looking for a new one.
I found it. I'll buy it sometime, it sounds good. A bit like twisted kichels which they love.

I live in Israel. My teenagers go for walks with their friends and the little kids play magnatiles or clicks. DH learns and I read/fall asleep on the couch.

Read briefly, fall asleep on the sofa, wake up at 1 or 2 am, read for a few hours, and toddle off to bed.
