I wouldn’t, usually weather that calls for velvet clothing is black tights weather. Why do you specifically want to wear nude?

Nope. Once it has velvet on it it's winter and you don't wear with nude.
I have a lightweight mesh-type dress that has a velvet ribbon running thru it, wore it to one DD's Shabbos Sheva Brachos and one DD's Vort - with black. I wouldn't wear it any other time/way even though it's not a warm dress - with velvet it's wintery by definition.

I disagree. Whilst I think you most certainly can wear sheer black tights with velvet, nude can look just as good and in some cases better. If you google velvet dresses, you will see that the models are not wearing black tights. The nude can really lighten up the look. Obviously it also depends on the particular outfit, but I don't think that velvet being a winter fabric automatically obligates black tights.

Most models and non Jews wear nothing. They don’t wear tights all the time. So you’ll get mostly bare feet.

And it in my opinion it can look very good. There are plenty of models modelling winter clothes with tights. Just not dressier velvet dresses.

I always wear nude with everything no matter the season. I’m not chassidish. I like the look. I’ve never seen models or actresses wearing black tights. Nude to me looks like barefoot which is how the secular dress. Google Oscars or met gala or any runway affair and I don’t see black tights. It’s ok to wear black tights- I’ve seen Princess Kate wear it but I think both black and nude are ok. In my opinion…

Same, I just don’t like black tights so I wear nude with everything no matter how wintery. I’m not the height of fashion but I try to dress well and I have gotten many compliments even with my atypical hosiery.
