It didnt come with any instructions and so I washed it inside out on cold. Oddly, it became pimply on the outside and the inside is fine.
What did I do wrong and any ideas of how to wash it without it becoming pimply?
Would a shave also remove the current pimples?
ETA: Also which brand did you find best that didnt get pimply quickly?

I don't turn mine inside out, but I wash on Gentle cold cycle and hang dry, I think brand matters as well, from what I heard filazi is good.
Shavers work up to a point, you can try it for a bit
