Aside from the technicalities, one of the most important factors for us with any community is the rabbi. How do we find one that fits? We are the type of couple that needs personal encouragement from the community rabbi or at least mentor(s). This is probably the most important factor for us rather than locale. We are geirim and I feel like we should know more than we do. We are not so young anymore. We dont need schools. In the US we are RWMO. Taking suggestions.

Moshav mattityahu is NOT RWMO. It is CHaredi.

Sorry, maybe it's changed. I was there many years ago and stayed with a wonderful family that definitely wasn't chareidi, but maybe that was an exception to the rule.

I also have the same question- something I have been doing in the meantime is seeing where my friends who I feel are hashkafically similar to me and ask them about their communities- many of them are in neve Shamir/ RBS area but also depends what’s available there as well. Not sure if you heard but there is a new community developing called meromei shemesh and Rabbi Larry Rothwachs from Teaneck is creating this beautiful community and has the RWMO Anglo feel to it.
