Years ago I got a text about a gown I put on instagowns... person wrote. Hey I like the way you look in the gown. I responded, Who is this? Response was Moshe.... so now we have a name maybe. In general, when posting things in an ad or online I suggest using a Google voice number. In case you get a creep, you can always just cancel the number

Do you really think this is his name? People have been posting similar stories here for years. I don’t think there is any way to stop someone, just more basic internet safety about not really engaging in these types of conversations with people whom you don’t know.

About 8 years ago I had a man call me who claimed he was a woman but sounded like a man ask me about my dress on instagowns.
At one point he asked if he sounds like a man? Many people tell him that. And then said he’s 60, but just got engaged and wants to wear this dress. What size I am, especially on top.
Somehow he started getting into transgender convo, asking if I know Abe stein…at that point I hung up and blocked his number. But I remember being so confused and speechless. Like what the heck just happened.

Sounds like classic autogynephilia (AGP) - men who are aroused by the thought of themselves as a woman, them wearing feminine clothing or doing something regarded as feminine. Like 90% of MtF transgenders are just AGP cases rather than genuine body dysphoria. Nothing more than a zexual fe-tish. A very perverted one IMO.

I'm assuming there's more than one such person...
I got such a msg when trying to sell my gown on a chat about 4-5 years ago. Asked me a few times what bra size I am. I just repeated the gown size. Then blocked him.
Years before that I joined a cooking and recipe sharing whatsapp group and one guy started private messaging me. He asked if I was married and continued onto more personal questions.
I blocked him, reached out to the admin and got him off the group. The admin then posted about it on the group and many more women said he had pm'ed them and asked inappropriate questions.
There are creeps all over unfortunately
🤮🤮

Just came across this page. Yup had same story. I advertised my furniture and a guy reached out to me that he wants to come see it, from there he started texting to me very strange messages asking me if I'm married and on and on..
personal questions and dirty questions of course I blocked him.

Same story here. I feel bad for instagowns, but definitely made me not use them again…
At first he sounds like a weirdo. His first entire text was hi how are you. No one says that to a stranger. And then after that a whole bunch of texts that sounds like a guy trying to be a girl. Was too obvious. He was imitating what sounded like a very frum sheltered girl that happened to be a little weird “I’m huge on top, this is so embarrassing…” But then stuck in a million emojis. As if said frumy sheltered girl is busy with emojis lol. That was the pure giveaway.

I had a friend who was r@ped over the phone. She was single and super naive and a guy called her under the pretext of being a Shadchan and started asking her her br@ size and if she's ever oed before and basically talked her through touching herself down there. She got off the phone and was super creeped out and BH reached out for help..

So yeah, I believe that there are perves out there.

I once advertised my apt for rent over yom tuv and someone called asking me what sizes the beds in each room are and then he asked weird questions like did you do it in a twin bed?!?! It took me a few seconds to chap what he is referring to and I knocked down the phone. I never rented it out in the end cause I was creeped out from this guy

That's not that weird, maybe they might be niddah when renting and they needed to know what the beds layout was like.

"Did you DO IT" ???
That's absolutely disgusting and lewd to ask. No difference if it's a male or female.

Well this past summer we rented an air bnb with family and my sil mentioned that she needed twin beds lol. I asked the owner if they can be split, and she said yes so I made sure they had done that before arrival. Plus I didn't want my kids to sleep in double beds if I could help it so yes I asked her if any of the other doubles can get split. Is that so weird? She said non of the others could, so we each took along one inflatable mattress and bedding each.

Did you do the layout in twin beds? I agree that a male shouldn't be asking these questions but who said he/she was talking about dtd?

Also about the gowns etc it's likely more than one guy. There are loads of creeps out there that get turned on with bust talk etc.

The wording of his question seems off, if he was enquiring about layout.

I was thinking the same and wondering if they are also adding fake stories to the mix.
