What are the pros about a ribbon front? Does it look natural like a lace?

My daughter who got married within the last year got two sheitels - one ribbon front and the other regular. She likes the way the ribbon front sits on the her head much better and it looks great. No experience with lace as we do not use them so I can't compare, but wanted you to know she is very happy with the ribbon front.
