DD is very creative and is saving up for a Cricut machine. From the research that I've done, the Cricut brand won't work for us because she'll be using it on a computer that doesn't have internet access. What's the difference between the brother and the silhouette? Which models in each brand should I be looking at? For the record, she probably would have gotten either the Cricut Joy Xtra or the explorer. She's looking for a machine where she can create her own images and can be as creative as she wants, and that doesn't break the bank as she's been saving for it and will also have to purchase the supplies/refills.
