We are BH so settled in the US, but my heart keeps feeling more and more drawn to move home 🇮🇱🇮🇱 My husband’s on the same page.
I don’t even know where to start. Community. Jobs. Schools (we BH have only little ones but at the right time). Money.. Housing.
I’m not saying we can even for sure pull it off, but how would we even find a community for us?
Anyone have good contacts or people who’ve done it who can advise?
We are JPF, (right wing, not super intense though). We currently live in tri-state.

I've been dreaming to move to Israel for years. DH is not interested so it's a non starter. But if you and husband are on the same page definitely speak with NBN and start getting information together. The process will take time and it's best to move while your kids are still young.

Your first step is to contact NBN.
They can steer you and answer a lot of questions.
Then, start talking to people that you know IRL who have made aliyah. Go through your FB friends, etc.
If you're comfortable, start sharing with friends and ask them to connect you with their friends who have made aliyah.

I read that and thought you wanted to move to Illinois at first, lol. And I was thinking “why”? Didn’t know IL was short for Israel.

Nefesh B'Nefesh as others have said. Thats your starting point.
And you can tell us what your looking for in a community and people in israel can give you ideas.
