Sick Cooking

Well, take the sheep's head you used for Rosh Hashana, stuff two hard boiled eggs in the eye sockets, mix soy sauce and ketchup so it looks like blood, and spread it around generously, add 1/4 a cup of boiled pus, a few maggots...etc.

Yeah I am also one of the brave ones who do it by myself.

This year I saw something really funny. A lady was doing it for her husband! It seems he was the squeamish one and she was holding it and turning it over his head.

I'm not squeamish but I like for my husband to do it for me.

when I was in seminary, I used to have one in each hand swinging for two other girls at one time. they were too squeamish, and I was too impatient so I doubled up.

I felt sorry for the poor bird the first time I did kapporos. I had just learned to read Hebrew and I said the tefillah so slowly, I think that little chicken was trying to say "oh, just shecht me already!!"
