Hi!
Have any of you got medicaid for your bochur learning in another state to you?
1) how does this affect your taxes? Can he still be counted as your dependent?
2)How does this affect your other government benefits that you receive?

So hard to figure all this out!
For those of you who get upset to see people receiving government help...I work a full day, as does my husband.

FYI, he can only get care in the state where he is registered. He can’t get it to cover two states

I know many people with this situation. still considered living at home and has medicaid in home state. if he were to get sick we'd pay for dr near yeshiva out if pocket and in an emergency hre can go to an out of state ER
not sure if that is technically correct but thats what we do
