Who did u tell that you were having twins when you were expecting?
I'm 16 weeks along BH but look much more pregnant than that.
I'm so embarrassed by how much I'm showing and so early even though I know it's for a good reason BH.
Did your co-workers know it was a twin pregnancy? Siblings? Parents?
Our Rav stressed the importance on keeping this as quiet as possible but just curious to hear from others.

I was never pregnant with multiples.

But I think you can tell people that you are 4/5 weeks ahead, they won't realize how big you are.

So right now, when someone asks how far along you are, say 20 or 21 weeks.

Bshaah tovah!!!

My sister in law posted here and I figured out it was her and knew it was twins. I would have suspected otherwise but would not have been sure. She didn't tell family it would be twins.

I feel this is a very personal question and unique to each person. I personally told my parents and in-laws it was a multiple pregnancy because I knew I was going to need to be prepared for any complications and for help postpartum. I also personally didn't mind my siblings and my sibling in-law is knowing.

I'm pregnant with twins now.
I assume people who see me often are assuming, since I'm incredibly huge and have been this way for a long time. I really don't care, I'm just living my life doing my thing and trying to cope with a very different and difficult pregnancy. It's not easy! I wouldn't add extra stress by trying too hard to lie or to hide my figure.

Same for me except I did not tell any of my siblings or siblings in law. I also told people I was due a few weeks before so maybe there was a better chance of them not figuring out.

I didn't know, so it's safe to assume nobody else did either.

I told parents and in laws at 16 weeks. I told one sister at 32 weeks, one sister at 35 weeks and a neighbor the day before my twins were born. Dropped lots of hints for other people and was huge and everyone knew I was high risk. Some connected the dots some didn’t… my one regret is not telling my two oldest kids before… they were young teens…

My sil was expecting twins and boy did I know. Lol, she was a whale. She told me afterwards that if I had said something she would have confirmed. I was like no way I was not going to ask!

I think people being referred to as a whale when prgnant is probably where a lot of the insecurity comes from... I would feel really bad if people said that about how I looked

Same. Everyone either assumes I'm due any day when I still have months to go, or that I've got a few extra babies in there. I get so many comments.

Just for the record when I was pregnant I was huge people thought I was having triplets! There was only one in there.
Meanwhile my sister who was due a month before me didn't even look pregnant! She had twins

Yes. Everyone “knew”. But I. Had also gotten comments with singleton pregnancies.

I am still many years later weirded out about the man who stopped my husband to let him know to get ready for the fun ride that came along with twins.
