When my son was 3 he had a small op.
The anesthesiologist explained to him that he should think of a nice place when they put the mask on him and he'll fall asleep,
So she said to him, so what's your favourite spot, he looked all seriously at his arm, pointed to one of his freckles, and said I think this one.

I was smushing my toddler and told her she’s the cutest thing we picked up the grocery store. Dd age 5 pipes up and says ‘ma you’re teaching her to lie don’t say that!’ (We’re working on her being a role model to her younger sister…)

Ds 6 was snuggling me before bed and said, I think you are having a baby. I am, but very early at that point.

I said why?
Because your getting fatter.
Where??? I asked. My stomach looked flat at that moment.
He pointed to my chest Can't Believe It

Dh told his a few days ago and he said I knew it!
When I mentioned it a short while afterwards he said what! You're pregnant??? All excited, I guess he didn't believe dh. He ask how do you know when it's coming? How do you know your pregnant?

My mother came to visit, he whispered to me, can I tell her??? I told him she already knows lol.

I asked him to bring up the laundry basket from the basement. He did it surprisingly easily but said it was heavy. He whispered to me that he did it because I'm expecting. Haha kid now I know you can do it...

Yesterday he came off the bus and yold me his bus driver is voting for Harris. Like he couldn't believe it.

DD 3y.o is deep in the "why" stage. Everything is why, why, why.

The other day I gave her a bit of a new food to try.
Her: "I don't like this"
Me: "ok, no problem" and I proceed to throw it out.
Her: "why you throwing it out?"
Me: "because you don't like it"
Her: "why I don't like it?"

I dunno kiddo, you tell me!

My dc 5 came home yesterday and asked if we are going boating and who we going to boat for? “Drump or the other one”
Child was so disappointed that there were no boats in the voting building only some boring papers…
