Yes I know what it is. I would love to hear your thoughts just because discussions are interesting but if it’s working for me im going to keep using it.

Glad it’s working!
As long as you’re aware. Sometimes people just do things because the Dr said so…
(And don’t want to further hijack this thread! So if you want a discussion, then let’s start a s/o!)

What is that? In any case ,I've been having this problem from the start. I used is consistently for a week as prescribed and since then im using it on and off trying to keep it under control.

It's where the body gets used to steroids and then every time you go off gets much worse. So you go back on steroids and it gets worse and worse until you stop cold turkey go through all the withdrawal and then you can start to feel better with other options.

And it can even happen after the first time you use steroid.

Do you breast feed?
Breast milk rubbed on the rash worked wonders for my fat baby with the same problem.

I use corn starch to keep it dry.
For irritated skin, the tubby Todd ointment cream rly rly works and is pretty natural.

Potato flour is excellent for this.

Maybe a couple of times a day hold a handheld fan to the affected area to dry it out & then apply a little maximum strength desitin or other strong diaper cream?

I had this with my baby. I kept him in bibs all the time except when we went out. I bought a type that had a thick top by the neck and kind of tucked it in . Waterproof on the inside and had a whole stack to wash and use. I also tried to put aquaphor on after drying up as a barrier
Bh eventually gets better when they become more mobile and more air gets to the neck

I’ll tell you what will help… more tummy time, get him picking up his head more to give the area air… and by the time he starts crawling the fat fold rash will be a thing of the past Wink
