does anyone have any idea what to send my SIL post Op? she is always the type thinking of everyone and now would like to pay back.

food items only if she wont have restrictions on eating post op. can send a nice breakfast the next day, smoothies..
otherwise, a book, nice blanket, spa package, cozy slippers, gift card, dvd for entertainment, sudoku or word search books, adult coloring, if she likes that sort of thing

Some cozy items like a soft blanket or socks, along with snacks, herbal teas, or a good book or magazine to keep her entertained. A handwritten note or card expressing your thoughts and well wishes would add a personal touch. If she's up for it, a little pampering gift like a bath bomb or a soothing lotion could also be nice!
