If I get a doona, it’s much heavier to lift in and out of my minivan, but I will most likely bump the wheels up and down my steps vs carrying the whole stroller.

If I get a Nuna trvl, it’s much lighter to lift in and out of minivan, but would be heavier to bump up and down my front stairs and also more time consuming (connect nuna car seat. To the nuna trvl stroller), and if I decide to carry instead of bump, I need to carry car seat from car up my front stairs into my house and then go back and get the stroller if I need it inside.

Wwyd?

I had the doona last time around over 4 years ago and it was so heavy…

Also looking into evenflo dual ride but don’t have much info on it.

I use a regular stroller and the Nuna Pipa lite car seat (with adapters if I need quick on the go)

The Nuna Pipa lite is the lightest car seat on the market. IME the time it takes to remove the car seat and attach it into the stroller is a second. Literally the same as removing the Dona and lifting it up. Add another 3 seconds to take the stroller from the trunk. It’s not inconvenient at all, and the Nuna is a top rated car seat and my stroller is amazing as well. The Doona is not a stroller nor a very good car seat so overall I don’t think it’s worth it

I have a doona which was gifted to em but I wish I had a normal good car seat with adapters for my stroller, I have a lightweight stroller and so literally takes a second to fold and open and fits in the car on the floor in front of the seats so don't even have to put it in the trunk. I can't see how that's less convenient than a doona which doesn't work as a normal stroller.

I already have a regular stroller, those don’t expire. I wouldn’t use doona as a stroller except at pediatrician and quick errands.

The doonas wheels aren’t good for bumping. You’re better off just carrying in the car seat. How often are you really taking the stroller to your car? (I have a seperate snap and go base for my car honestly)

I had the doona and carried it up and down the steps. I'm almost a full flight up. A lot of the time I took baby out and left the doona in the car. But I was worried that bumping it could affect the integrity of the carseat, since it's all one product. If you're going to bump it I would get a separate stroller
