I “fell asleep” on my brand new husbands shoulder on the way home from our wedding because I was worried we won’t have what to talk about. We had an hour drive home and I actually ended up falling asleep.

Idk why I was so worried, we had great conversations while dating and during engagement….. but we didn’t speak for 2 weeks before so I got awkward.

Dh still mad about it almost 10 years later haha

I had a fast engagement due to unfortunate family circumstances and I didn't know my dh well. We were so self conscious on getting dressed or undressed in front of each other we took turns in the bathroom! Now we are past that and laugh about it.

DH didn’t know how to handle lingerie in the beginning. I was told that my chosson would enjoy slowly “unwrapping” me but he never got the memo. I don’t think I stood before him in lingerie for more than 3 seconds before it all come off. This was during the first week of sheva brachos.

During Sheva brochos my husband was looking at my feet at breakfast. I had heard of foot fettishes and was convinced he was thinking lewd thoughts during nidda. I was appalled and felt so violated. I went ballistic on him and he was extremely confused. Looking back we find it hysterical.

Dh is often honest to a fault.

Once we were having sx and someone called (we didn't pick up). After he called the guy back and said "Sorry I missed your call. I was sleeping. Not really sleeping, but y'know.", the guy was like "I got you.

LOL we still laugh about it

In sheva brochos we received a cheque for $38 with wrong name written. Stupid me called up the sender and asked if she can re-send with the correct name.

We were taught that the room needs to be pitch dark during s-x.
When we went to my in laws in the first few times my DH was busy taping skylights and covering the windows with black garbage bags.
( My in laws did have very sheer shades I'll admit and until she didn't upgrade to sunblock ones we would cover the window to let us sleep once the sun rose at 5am.)

When we first got married, we went to my shviger for shabbos. I went to the mikvah I think the night or two before and when we were tahor we enjoyed sleeping in the same bed.

Well, as I’m getting ready before candle lighting I hear a bunch of noise in the bedroom. I mean it was LOUD in there. I walk in, and he’s rearranging all of the furniture so he could push both of our beds together! I was so embarrassed because what if my in-laws heard him moving the beds around? Or they wanted to know what was going on and walked in on both the beds pushed together?

I told him I was flattered but we can sleep together at home, not your parents where the beds are already tiny and separated lol

Two weeks after our wedding, my in laws came for a visit.
My proud excited husband tells them, "You have to see what my wife gave me!"

And, beaming, he hands my mil a hand-crafted card I'd made for him- full of mushy romance.

I almost died..

(Omg! Im thinking now, Was he such a baby back then??! )

these are great! loving this!

yeah so I had the same thing but sort of opposite lol. I was prepared and knew I was gonna get into lingere and everything after the wedding and he will undress me slowly and aloo that. I thought that of course the husband also gets into something sxy and I will also undress him as well as we are working on f0replay and stuff. little did I know, that guys dont do that and get dressed into anything and came out of the bathroom all dressed up in lingere and everything and he is standing there in front of me STARK naked and erect. lets just say I was taken by surprise and may or may not have ran back into bathroom lol.

nowadays, we joke about how most of the times we both dont have clothes on in front of each other and its like normal lol
