yup I ended up cleaning up my laser beard with years of electrolysis. Lately younger people have been asking me about laser in those areas and I'm just wondering if there's new technology now. Laser worked on other parts of my body (candela )

Following because I'm not having much success with electrolysis it's extremely painful expensive and I'm not seeing much results after a year. I've been thinking of going laser.

I had the same experience with electrolysis therefore started laser after a few months. After 3 years of laser doing terrible damage I went back to electrolysis but this time I got into a very good lady who had an updated machine and much less painful. Make sure you never feel the hair coming out its supposed to be dead and slide out easily. If your are feeling the hair coming out you might as well stay home and tweeze Can't Believe It

In my recent electrolysis training, I was told that laser is being renamed legally (in my country) to hair reduction treatment, NOT hair removal. Electrolysis is the only FDA approved method of permanent hair removal.

Of course it is FDA approved but not as permanently removing hair, just at reducing hair.

Laser worked very well on my sideburns (now about 5 years out and didn’t need to retouch) but didn’t work long term on my chin/lip area. The chin/lip areas are hormonal based so very likely to come back. I bought my own laser device to do home laser for touching up those areas. Works pretty well when I remember to do it. I do it every day/every other day for a week and then I don’t have to touch it for 2 months.
