What is the community like there? Would a rwmo family fit in? What are the personalities of the different shuls?

I live on the UES and love it here. It's obviously extremely expensive but it's an amazing place to have a family in the city. I think overall the community is centrist MO but there's definitely a range from LW to RW. We mostly go to KJ which is a great shul and community but have hopped around at many other shuls here. There's so many places to find the right fit.
