Oh! I also bought the Junp powder from my local health food store. It has no calories and supposedly helps prevent keto flu…
Any idea how I know I’m in ketosis?

It takes me a full week to detox off sugar, carbs, etc. and by the end of week 2, my stomach has totally changed. TMI, but by the time I hit ketosis, I've literally emptied out like 5 times. Just stay hydrated as you go. After that, I tend to feel full and lose weight quickly. Last time on keto, I lost 30 lbs in 3 months. Now I'm going for another 30 in 3 so we'll see. Breakfast was coffee. Lunch is meat and veggies. I don't do dinner but I'll have something light around 4pm.

If I ease in, I'll never commit. I go cold turkey and its a rough start (picture hangry) but after 2 or 3 days, I'm good.

I can follow this.
I'm not good with books and loads of rules.
One major question. Any form of chocolate allowed?
Also how much did you lose on this and how long did it take you?

There is an ebook thats about 20 pages, easy read, if you want to get it. It explins NSNG very well.

Chocolate-if it's 85% or more cacao only. It took a little getting used to it, but I enjoy it.

So far, I've lost 65 lbs and my A1C has gone down to non diabetic levels. Everyone loses weight differently. The first 25 lbs practically fell off me-probably because I was not eating very healthy beforehand. I'm 2 years into this way of eating and losing very slowly now. I'd like to lose another 10-15 lbs, but I'm also ok with how I am now.

I have done Keto in the past, strict for 1+ years, but weight plateaued after about 8 months even though I was far from my ideal weight, then did it less strictly for about 6 more months and then slowly reverted to my poor eating habits (and weight gain). I am looking to start again due to how good my body felt during that time- I never got sick, no colds, no Covid, so I think it’s good for the immune system.
