New to the area and looking for a good obgyn. Can anyone tell me the top practices and also which are good hospitals to deliver in?

Robert Wood Johnson - Dr. Segal's practice, they don't take Jersey Care
excellent doctors, excellent hospital

That’s super far. Do you have fast labors? Do you have time to travel far? Many hospitals are 45 minutes to an hour away. Also top is relative, what things are important to you?

It's not super far, it's about an hour away. Many many Lakewood mothers deliver there.
Monmouth Medical is closer, but not as good of a hospital. But many deliver there too and are very happy

I’m just gonna interject here. I use RWJ and love Dr Segal and would highly recommend him. But the hospital (while maybe in ratings is better) is nothing compared to delivering in Monmouth which is totally set up for Frum families

An hour is super far for many. Not everyone can travel that long so it matters for those who can’t make it there in time. If I traveled an hour I’d give birth in the car, my whole labor is an hour.

Which Dr's deliver in Momouth? I think 1 hr would be too far for me.

Most OBs. I can name some I know off hand but don’t know much about them as I use RWJ

I liked West Long Branch Group. Their office is by kosher village upstairs. I think Dr. Surowitzes practice now delivers in Jersey Shore.
