Right now, there are two older boys, one toddler girl, and we're really hoping to give them another sister in a few months (pu pu pu!)
Tricky part is the bedrooms. Our house has three bedrooms. Two are normal-sized, and one is half the size of a normal bedroom. Right now, all our kids are in the second big bedroom. The boys share a bunkbed.
We first thought we'd move our toddler girl to the small room once she's a bit bigger, but it feels icky to have two kids in a big room, and two kids in a tiny room.
Should we try to split up the big room somehow? How do I manage this one? And don't really have the money to spend thousands on adding to the house.

For now put her in the smaller room. What if baby is a boy? Then you’ll have 3 in one and 2 in the other. It’s not icky to have kids in different size rooms. We grew up with one big room and the rest were small. We had the same amount of kids in each no one thought anything of it. That’s just how life works. We actually gave girls the bigger one because they had more accessories and used desks in their rooms while boys only used the room for sleeping.

What are you gaining if you split the room? Instead of one large and one small room, you'll have three small rooms? How does that help anyone?
I'm assuming you know that the next baby is a girl, but do you plan to finish your family there? What if the next one is a boy?
For now you have one girl and soon to be one baby. The baby might be sleeping in your room initially, anyway, and in the meantime the girl can very well go in a smaller room by herself. Later, the baby will join her.
The distribution of the rooms might change as your family grows, but in the meantime, look at furniture that makes the most use of a small space, so they don't feel crowded.

I put the girls in a bigger room. I believe that girls need and use their bedroom much more then boys. Especially when they become teenagers girls spend a lot of time in their rooms. As teenagers boys come home so late from yeshiva that they don't spend so much time in their room so they get the smaller room. I put 3 boys in the smaller room and 2 girls in the bigger room.

Use the small room as a nursery for when the baby is born iyh. Then move the bunkbed to the nursery when the baby is out of the crib and the girls will have the bigger bedroom and if there is another baby the baby should go there.

I like this plan. Leave the 3 together for another few years. Only issue is if the boys will be old enough at that point that some exciting decor will not be enough to make the switch positive.

I would put the 2 boys in the big room and your dd in the small room. Baby will anyway start out in your room regardless of gender and you can evaluate when you're ready to move the baby out.
