Cst is not usually covered by insurance. You can post your location here and maybe someone can give a recommendation.
How are you sure that he doesn't have tongue tie?
The connection is that the if there's any amount of attachment under the tongue, it's pulling the tongue, which is connected to the neck. It's usually coming from tension even further down, like possibly even in the hips. That's why the best treatment involves aligning and strengthening the whole upper body.

That’s so interesting didn’t think about that connection. He was checked by a lactation consultant though, wouldn’t they have found tongue tie?

Located in 5t/fr if anyone has cst recommendations

I used an osteopath when my son was developing a flat spot on one side. Worked really quickly, by the end of the day he was using his weaker side more. Wasn't an official torticollis diagnosis though

My son had it. I turned his head slightly every diaper change starting at 4 weeks and within 2 weeks it loosened and he could move his head freely. He turned over at 8 weeks and crawled at 8 months. But he still has weak tongue muscles with speech therapy.

Hard to say for sure that a lc would catch it. I took my dd2 to a lc a few times and also had her checked by doctor. I kept going to the doctor with all my concerns, she was ftt, low tone, torticollis, terrible reflux, feeding issues, always congested. Even with every symptom of tongue tie, no one mentioned it.

By my next kid, I went to a different lc who pointed it out right away. I followed all her recommendations and bh ds3 is 6yr old and doing great. Looking back, I realize that dd2 is for sure tongue tied too and that's why she had so many issues.

I know somewhere in Long Island is a cst by the name of Lori Chinitz. She's supposed to be very good, especially with mouth related stuff. 5164964800.
In Brooklyn, shira korngold.

If you want a chiropractor, Dr. Harbater may be more in your area but I don't know much about him.
