Some background information: we moved quite recently, and my 2 favourite cookbooks are not around yet.
None of my friends or relatives seem to have these books, so I finally came up with the brilliant solution of asking my Imamother friends.
Thanks in advance ☺️
Recipe #1:
Balabusta's choice #2, Recipe for mushroom and pastrami orzo.
We love this dish, and I want to make it for Sukkos.
Recipe #2:
Bais yaakov cookbook #2, Recipe for rugelech. I love these, especially since they have no margarine.
Have a g'mar chasimah tovah, and an easy, smooth fast!

I only see salami n orzo mix recipe.
Is that it?
Don’t know how much time I’ll have later, so in case it is, here goes:

1/4 cup orzo, cooked and drained
1 onion, diced
6 oz. Salami loaf, diced
10 oz. Fresh mushrooms, diced
1/4 oil, for sautéing
2 Tbsp onion soup mix
2 Tbsp soy sauce

Sauté onion, salami and mushrooms in oil until salami is crispy and golden. Add soup mix and soy sauce and cook for another few minutes.
Add orzo. Serve warm.
