Exactly. If they need a white sheet they’ll bring one along.

And also.. Linen in Jewish stores is a crime. They can dtd at home, and not have an issue on my white linen. Otherwise they are wearing underwear and it won't have an effect on linen. |
Or bring along their own sheet or towel, which I was taught you are supposed to do.

You can buy any twin size duvet cover set from a non jewish store and buy a coordinating fitted sheet in a jewish store.

I have 2 twins and when pushed together we use king sheets (king fitted sheet and king duvet).
I buy the fitted sheets from amazon I wish I could do white I love the crisp look. But I was told better not to so I have beige, light grey and cream color.
And duvet color I get from ikea, homegoods, tj max... Sometimes they have beautiful expensive linen on sale. I just bought a new king linen set from homegoods for $25

Same. I hate staying by people who have white linen. It’s stressful.

Good idea to bring along your own pillow case. Makeup can ruin colored linen too.

This drives me crazy also.
It's also so hard to find Twin XL sets. It's like not everyone has space for 48in mattresses!

I thought this thread is about giving guests white linen, apologies
Also I didn't mention dtd so I guess that was a response to someone else

I always bring a pillowcase. Easy enough. I have a silk one that’s good for makeup.

I love white and I see no problem with it.
I have never stained and I don’t even understand it, don’t you wear underwear?
I once got blood on my white sheet but it was obviously from a cut on my toe and was not a problem according to my Dayan. Moreover, also according to my Dayan, even if it weren’t obvious, it could’ve been attributed to that.
I’d rather see the dirt on my bedding so I can wash it, than not see it and pretend I’m sleeping on clean sheets. Why would anyone prefer hidden dirt?
I LOVE crisp white clean linen and I’ll never change my mind. (Same for bath towels and hand towels.)

If anyone ruins my linen in my guest room I have no issue and would just replace it.
I would have an issue if it was expensive linen because I need to get colored and would need to shop in an expensive store for sharp clean elegant linen.
I have zero issues if guests get the linen dirty. Almost always comes out. And if not.. That's my issue!

But just something to take into account is that your guest might not be super appreciative.... |
I’m responding to the op of this thread. There’s no mention of guest bedding.
